My Story
I'm not sure how old I was when took my first ever plane ride. I just know that it was Florida only because that's what my step mother told me. It is because of her that I developed a love of travel. When I was a child, I was able to fly to places because my step mother used to work for an airline. Because of these experiences as a child, traveling as a deaf/hard of hearing person was not hard as I knew the protocol. 2015 is my first year venturing out of the United States. That trip was not intended to be solo as I was hoping a friend would come with but she was not interested and I ended up traveling to Dominican Republic out of anger so I had no time to be scared on my first international trip. And then the rest was history. I'm writing this blog because I want to share my stories. My family says I have fun stories to tell but you know family, they like to hype you up. Along with my stories, I hope to inspire anyone nervous or contemplating traveling alone to just do it. The more I travel, the more I learn about myself and my ability to handle situations that come up. Travel is so very important to me that I plan trips to have something to look forward to when life gets hard or busy. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy my stories.
